We recently shared the exciting news of our sponsorship for a sheep sculpture in the community-embracing art trail, "Shaun by the Sea," benefitting Martlets Hospice. Today, we're overjoyed to lift the curtain on our fabulous woolly friend, Sheep Dip, designed by none other than the talented artist Lauren Nickless.
We're not just talking wool and hooves here. Lauren Nickless, an artist whose unique creative vision has garnered her a following, took our humble Tillo sheep and turned it into a vibrant masterpiece. Here’s what Sheep Dip looked like a few months ago vs. the final design waiting for installation at Shaun HQ.
Sheep Dip embodies the colorful, fun-loving spirit of both Brighton and Tillo. It's not just an art piece; it's a connection, a beacon that brings us closer to the community we hold dear. Lauren even painted two very special figures on our Sheep Dip sculpture, Alex Preece and his daughter - can you find them in the design?
You can hear what Lauren says about the experience in her interview with ITV!
At Tillo, we continue to be long-term supporters of Martlets Hospice, so of course, it made perfect sense for us to be a part of something as vibrant as Shaun by the Sea. When businesses and communities come together, magic happens, and what better way to amplify this than through art and charity?
Here's Tillo CEO and Co-Founder Alex Preece on why this initiative hits home for us:
"The Shaun by the Sea trail resonates with our vision at Tillo - building meaningful connections. By sponsoring a sheep on the Martlets Trail, we're not just contributing to charity; we're strengthening community bonds and offering an avenue for people to discover rewards that enrich their lives. It's all about synergizing creativity, community, and technology, and we couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of this initiative."
When you visit Tillo’s sheep, Sheep Dip, you're not just experiencing an art piece; you're unlocking a chance to win a share of £1000 worth of Brilliant Brighton gift cards.
Shelley Welti, Marketing & Events Manager from Brilliant Brighton, a collective of 500+ city centre shops, restaurants, salons, and cafes, says:
"We're so excited to support our friends at Tillo and their wonderful spectacular Shaun by the Sea sheep by giving away 11 gift cards, ranging from £50 to £300 - all to be spent locally in our bah-rilliant city centre! We hope that the prize giveaway adds yet more interest to such a fantastic initiative."
