This April, 11 brave members of the Tillo team will be squaring up against Tough Mudder in Finsbury Park to help raise money for Martlets, a charity local to our Brighton office, providing essential care to people affected by terminal illness.
Tillo began working closely with Martlets Hospice in 2022, donating £10,000 towards the development of a new hospice building for the Brighton and Hove area and £7,500 in sponsorship of their 2023 annual Brighton Sculpture Trail - Shaun by the Sea.
As they prepare for what may be the most demanding 5K of their lives, the Tillonators are getting stuck into a diverse training plan.
Mat is making sure everyone can do more than lift their morning cup of coffee; he’s hosting personal training sessions in the office after hours, and after seeing how some of the team were struggling with Tillo’s notorious office stairs, he’s even managed to drag several Tillians on their first run.
With walls to scale, nets to climb, and crawling obstacles galore, Sara wants to ensure the team can get down low and fling themselves up high without causing an injury. As the team’s resident yoga expert, she’s offering classes that focus on flexibility and mobility - while she can’t work miracles, we will all touch our toes!

This helps to bolster the fundraising efforts of individual Tillians, enabling them to donate an even more significant amount of money to their chosen charity.
