Three of Tillo's strategic advisors, David Birch, Daniel Kornitzer, and Michelle Beyo, are not only attending the 2023 Payments Canada Summit but also contributing to its talks.
From 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, the 3rd of May, David Birch will be speaking on Trust in the digital economy. His panel will explore the role of trust in a rapidly changing technology landscape and why gaining, improving, and maintaining it is vital regardless of industry.
On Thursday, May 4th, from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM EDT. Daniel Kornitzer will be discussing the need to expand payment access for Fintechs. As Payments Canada prepares for the Real-Time Rail, it is important for them to expand their membership to ensure it includes fintechs. This panel will explore why this is important, what the government needs to do, and the critical issue of timing.
Then at 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM EDT, Michelle Beyo will be speaking about the evolution of open banking to open finance. As open banking continues to move forward in Canada, other countries around the world have already begun to look ahead to the next step beyond open banking: open finance. Her panel of industry experts includes individuals from Wealthsimple, Klarna, and ATB Financial and will unpack their perspectives on what the evolution from open banking to open finance will look like in Canada.
