We’re very excited to announce that global payments experts Daniel Kornitzer and Dave Birch, two of Tillo’s Strategic Advisors, will attend and contribute to this year's MPE Conference in Berlin from the 28th to the 30th of March, 2023.
Daniel will be moderating two sessions at this year’s Merchant Payments Ecosystem conference. Session 4: Working towards an OPEN ecosystem at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, the 28th of March, and Session 4: ​​Wallets, Apps, Loyalty & Payments at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, the 28th of March.
Here’s what you can expect from each of them.

This MPE session, chaired by Daniel, will explore the future of Open Banking, Open Finance, and the Open Economy. Keynote speaker, Olof Wirfelt from Trustly, will present on Open Banking and the Technology Adoption Curve, showing how merchants integrate Open Banking into their tech stack and how all signs point to a near-future explosion in growth.
The session and its panel will also explore questions like, is open banking falling behind? What factors can be attributed to its lack of traction? And what innovations and trends do we need to look out for?

Location: Pavilion
Daniels's second session takes a deep dive into smart wallets, super apps, and the potential of QR in payments. How have European digital wallets evolved? What’s changed in the world of retailer apps? What technologies are paving the way for innovation in the wallet and payment sectors?
Dave Birch will also have a busy few days at this year’s conference, starting with chairing session 1, the MPE opening expert panel on Tuesday, the 28th of March.
David will also be speaking in Session 4: Payments of tomorrow - the METAVERSE at 3:00 PM and appearing as a panelist at 4:45 in Session 5: The next stage for payments: Digital currencies/CBDC on Wednesday the 29th of March before rounding off the conference by moderating the Conference outcomes - strategic discussions session at 1:45 PM on Thursday the 30th of March.
