Every year, delegates from around the world gather for a couple of days to share learnings from across the gift card industry. Last year, due to the pandemic, the GCVA conference went virtual - and was still a fantastic event.
On the 2nd-3rd March this year, the gift card flagship industry event of the year is back - in person. We’re looking forward to everything that this year’s conference has to offer, from great sessions to networking, and of course a good time!
This year, the conference is taking place at Hilton London Bankside, a short walk to the iconic Tate Modern and the Thames.
Tillo is proud to be a promotional partner for the conference. If you haven’t booked your tickets yet, you can do so here.
We’re excited to be sponsoring this year’s coffee cart at the conference, taking care of your morning brew (especially essential after the late night we’re sure most delegates will have on day one).
We’ve also got quite a few team members attending the conference in person this year - so if you’re attending then feel free to reach out and join us for a chat over a coffee. You can drop us a message through this page.
The conference schedule is action-packed, with the opportunity to hear from a wide array of speakers, on topics from industry innovation, consumer needs, market trends and much more.
All the sessions look fantastic. Some of the ones we’re most looking forward to include:
Wednesday 2nd March
Thursday 3rd March:

Alex will be hosting a panel discussion, The continual rise of B2B and the role of loyalty on Wednesday the 2nd at 15.55.
He’ll be joined by other industry experts to explore the emerging and varying use cases for using digital gift cards in the B2B space; from acquiring new customers to customer retention and driving loyalty.
It’s set to be a great conversation so make sure you join, whether you’re attending the conference in person or virtually.
We’ve been working hard on a brand new report and we’re excited to share it with you all!
We’ll be releasing “The Evolution of Digital Gift Cards: Emerging Trends 2019-2021” on the first day of the conference, Wednesday 2nd March.
In it, we explore insights from never-before-seen Tillo data from the last 3 years across key categories to see how the pandemic shaped trends, examine the performance of peak (Q4), and delve into the emergence of new sub-sectors such as “food on demand.”
Look out for one of our flyers in the delegate packs if you’re attending the conference in person or visit our website to download your copy.
Our landing page isn’t live yet but here’s the link just in case you’re worried about missing out 😉. We hope you enjoy it.
The gift card industry is small and relatively niche but it has a great sense of community; and it’s certainly growing. It’s expected to be worth $2.7 trillion globally by 2027.
We thoroughly enjoy meeting with others from across the sector and we’re delighted to be able to be a part of these events organised by the GCVA; we hope to see you there next week!
