Tillo appoints Daniel Kornitzer, industry expert and former Chief Product Officer at Paysafe, as Strategic Advisor
Tillo is delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Kornitzer, a highly respected senior fintech executive and thought leader, as its latest Strategic Advisor. Daniel will support Tillo’s growth strategy by boosting the company’s profile across the fintech sector, advising on product development opportunities, and representing Tillo as an expert and speaker at key industry events.
Daniel is an Advisory Board Member to multiple fintech firms. Before this, he was Chief Business Development Officer for Paysafe, responsible for global enterprise sales globally and developing strategic partnerships to meet customer needs and grow new revenues. He was also a stakeholder in Paysafe M&A activities.
In addition, Daniel served as Paysafe’s EVP and Chief Product Officer. Before re-joining the Group in 2014, he was CEO and Board Member of SiteSell.com. In his 20+ years in technology management, Daniel has pioneered a range of groundbreaking initiatives, from one of the world’s first over-the-phone speech recognition systems and the ISO/ITU standards for video coding in use today to FirePay’s digital wallet and industry-leading risk management processes.
With deep knowledge of customer needs and a profound understanding of the global payments industry, he is a well-regarded and active payments commentator who regularly speaks at industry events.
He also sits alongside other industry visionaries as a member of the advisory board of the Merchant Payments Ecosystem (MPE), ETA Canadian Working Group, and is a former advisory board member of Smart Valor and Shyft. Daniel holds a B.Eng in electrical engineering from Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, an M. Eng from McGill University, and a diploma in network engineering from the University of Toronto.
